Pro-Form Pro 9.9 Elliptical Activate iFit
We had a job assembling a Pro-Form 9.9 Elliptical in Baltimore Maryland. This was a case of Pro-Form making you think you have to activate iFit. Holding down the iFit button for about 10 seconds will “activate” your elliptical machine.
This solves the “Hello” and “Active iFit” issue with many different brands (Altra, Freemotion Fitness, Gold’s Gym, HealthRider, ICON Fitness, iFit, NordicTrack, ProForm, Weider), models, and machines (Treadmills, Ellipticals, Cardio HIIT Trainer, etc.)

Paying a monthly fee for equipment you purchased is criminal. Completely defeats the purpose of buying equipment. I pay $10 for full access to a gym… with every conceivable piece of equipment and free weights. Every company is switching to subscription based models… to rip everyone off big time. Screw these corporations.

Omg I could kiss you!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I have been jumping through hoops to get past that damn ifit activation screen. I can't believe it even coerced me into signing up for a membership, which thankfully was a free trial I quickly canceled. Nothing in the user's manual said you could do this. I thought my $700 machine was junk. I was ready to RIP heads off. Thank you so much for this simple, helpful video!!!

Yup…this did the trick! Thanks for posting….what a bunch of crooks….no where in the documentation does it state that you can use the equipment without activating.
Also works for the Pro Form HIIT machines. If there is a Bluetooth/Sync button…hold that one down as well.
