HOW I LOST 60 LBS for beginners | MY WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY



Hey loves! I really hope you all enjoyed this video from me! I am beyond grateful for all the love and sweet messages I have received from everyone and I wish you all the best on those of you who are inspired by my journey to adventure on yours. Just a little background I started my weight loss journey the last two weeks of 2016 and it was my mission to stick to this change as my New Years Resolution.

MY HIIT ROUTINE ON THE TREADMILL:
* Sprint for 1 minute (at speed of 6.5 or higher), walk for 2 minutes (at speed of 3.5 or higher)
* You can leave the incline at speed 0.0 but I would recommend setting at 4.0 or higher (whatever your body is comfortable with, you can increase gradually)
* I did the routine twice a day, 5-7 days out the week
* Additional workouts that I would do after HIIT or in replacement of it is listed down below in description box (continue scrolling)

WEIGHT, HEIGHT, & BODY INFO:

* I am 5’1 and I went from 231 – 171. I lost a total of 60 pounds!
* I do not know my current measurements!

PREVIOUS CARDIO WORKOUT ROUTINE:

* 3-4 miles of HIIT workouts on the treadmill (twice a day, 5-7x out the week)

CURRENT CARDIO WORKOUT ROUTINE:

* 2 miles of HIIT on treadmill (30 sec sprint, 1 minute walk)
* 2 miles on the elliptical
* 2 miles on the bike

LIST OF FOODS I ATE:

brown rice • quinoa • wheat bread • wheat tortilla wraps • avocados • sweet potatoes • black beans • ripe/unripened plantain (boiled) • tilapia • salmon • tuna • sardines • salads • boiled eggs • scrambled eggs • any variation of vegetable soup • sushi • zucchini noodles • apple cinnamon oatmeal w/ banana slices + almonds/pistachios

    I have used every weight-loss guide and this fat loss plan “Yamzοkο Weebly” (Google it) is the one that is effective for me coupled with their own products to lose fat. I do not feel jittery or maybe feel a crash, I am also not as starving as I used to. I have burn about 15 pounds since making use of this item. .

    Getting a gym member ship is a must you won’t be able to build muscle at home the same way as you would in the gym you can only do so much at home but if your trying to tone and build get that membership I’ve learned so much by going to the gym and working out with other men and personal trainers and body builders to where I got to a point I didn’t need any help with working out now friends ask me for help 😎😁

    I'm Kenyan and I live with my Grandma, carbs is what we eat every day and there is no other option. My Grandma doesn't even understand why I am trying to lose weight 😭

    Lost 60 pounds from eating healthy and went back to what I started off with when I hit the gym. I just don’t understand what I’m doing wrong I barely eat any sugar and my stomach won’t seem to go away.

    Awesome job! Keep it up! I do calories and HIIT I also really enjoy yoga. I only count if I feel like I am gaining. Most of the time I don't count them. The rule that works for me is counting calories by rounding to the nearest 100. Each finger as 100 calories and aim for (17) 1700 if I worked out or possibly even 1500 and working out like forty lbs overall and I'm a working mom so I'm busy. 🙂 But ya I also really enjoy yoga because it's relaxing and focuses on accepting that you are doing awesome wherever you are. For me it helped me to manage stress. I love HIIT too. I like just doing my workout in twenty minutes. I drink a protein drink after my workout. I eat whole grains, meat, and veggies but not so much enriched flour stuff. I do giant salad every day and lots of veggies and just keep eating the foods I love. You inspired me to get back into HIIT. Also there is a big benefit of resistance training. For every 5lb of muscle added it increases your metabolism by 250 calories per day! which is like running 2.5 mi per day without running. I think there is a big benefit in resistance training. Okay awesome job! You look great!! 🙂
